CorrectCare
The leading newspaper dedicated to correctional health care,
CorrectCare features timely news, articles and commentary on the
subjects that our readers care about: clinical care, ethics, law,
administration, professional development and more. The quarterly paper
is free of charge to members of the Academy of Correctional Health
Professionals, as well as to thousands of key professionals working in
the nation’s prisons, jails, juvenile facilities, departments of
corrections, health departments and other organizations. The paper also
is available on the NCCHC
Web site. In addition, a special conference issue is distributed to
attendees at the National Conference on Correctional Health Care.
Journal of Correctional Health Care
The only national, peer-reviewed, scientific journal
with an exclusive focus on correctional health care issues, NCCHC’s
quarterly journal offers a unique opportunity for advertisers to reach
the best and brightest. Edited by eminent public health expert John R.
Miles, the Journal is sent as a benefit to the 2,500 members of
the Academy of Correctional Health Professionals, many of whom
participate in NCCHC’s prestigious Certified Correctional Health
Professional program. It also is received by individual and
institutional subscribers.
Correctional health care professionals rely on this
valuable resource to stay informed about important research on health
services administration and staffing, clinical and support services,
medical technology, professional ethics, legal issues and much more.
Each issue carries a self-study exam by which CCHPs and other
professionals may earn continuing education credit.
