The Academy relies upon its members to develop and maintain the many
programs and services we provide to our members. The chair of the Academy board of directors will be
making committee appointments for the coming year very soon. Please
consider volunteering your time and talent toward the advancement of our
association, and consider serving on one of the following committees.

Membership Committee
The membership committee is responsible for membership recruitment
and retention. In addition, it devises benefits, programs and services
to meet the needs of Academy members. This year, the
membership committee will consider the development of student and
corporate membership.
Mentor Committee
The mentor committee works to establish a network of experienced
correctional health professionals whom new members can seek out for
professional advice and support. It also develops and implements
strategies to promote and expand the mentor program, as well as to
coordinate mentor-related issues that might be incorporated with
educational activities.
Finance Committee
The finance committee provides input into the sound fiscal management
of the Academy through financial review, financial policy updates, and
budgetary oversight.
Information Technology Committee
The information technology committee maintains and makes
recommendations for all the web-based technology being used by the
Academy. The committee is also responsible for design and maintenance of
the Academy's website.
